A singular terroir in the Andes

Since 2005 we have grown French vines in the historic Saquenzipá Valley, 2,150 metres above sea level, in a semi-desert region of extraordinary sunlight. The thermometer climbs to 25 °C by day and drops to 4 °C at night: that swing concentrates the sugar, aroma and acidity that make our grapes unique — so much so that harvest here comes every eight months.

Clay soils and some of the country’s most intense sunlight complete a terroir that exists nowhere else. And beneath the vineyard, a stone-walled cellar keeps the wine in French and Colombian oak barrels, resting until it finds its moment.
